Where Experience Meets Excellence

COSHH: Working With Hazardous Substances – E-Learning

This COSHH: Working with Hazardous Substances E-Learning Course provides employees with practical awareness of the risks associated with hazardous substances in the workplace and the controls required to work with them safely.

The course introduces learners to the principles of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, including identifying hazardous substances, understanding health risks, reading safety information, following COSHH assessments and using appropriate control measures.

Learners will understand their responsibilities when handling, storing, using and disposing of hazardous substances and how to respond appropriately to spills, exposure and other incidents.

The course is designed as awareness-level COSHH training and should complement the organisation’s own COSHH assessments, procedures and workplace-specific controls.

Recently Booked an IOSH Health and Safety Course through Samson. Samson did not directly provide the training but I found them easy and reliable to deal through they found a course provider to best suit my requirements. I really enjoyed the course and the course instructor through her own experience was able to provide real life examples of Health and Safety Issues. There was interaction with Q & A’s between different sections of the course which kept the course interesting.
